Does one who is not good at memorization refrain from recitation?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
His second question says: My mother, when she recites verses from the Book of Allah from memory, because she does not know how to read or write, having only memorized some verses from the Noble Qur'an in her youth, and when she recites now, she makes mistakes many times. For example, in the Verse of the Throne, she says: "And His Kursi encompasses the heavens", adding a waw. And in His saying, the Exalted: "And their guarding does not weary Him", she adds a waw in it. We teach her, but to no avail. Does she refrain from recitation, or what should we do?
Answer: She does not refrain, but teach her, teach her, and strive, and be patient. Be patient teachers, guides, and helpers to her in good. She is striving and seeking good. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the authentic hadith: The one who is proficient in the Qur'an is with the noble, righteous angels, and the one who recites the Qur'an and it is difficult for him, and he stumbles over it and it is difficult for him, has two rewards. The one who stumbles may change a letter, or may substitute a letter, seeking good. So you must teach her and be kind to her, and be patient and repeat the words to her in a good manner, with gentleness and humility, until she is convinced, and until her tongue becomes accustomed to this matter, and until she stops adding the waw. This addition is easy to drop; its removal is easy. But you must be patient, do not be harsh or severe. You must have forbearance and patience, and then the error will be removed, if Allah wills. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
