The ruling on one who performed Hajj and left off the stoning of the pillars and the farewell circumambulation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A message was received for the program from our sister Umm Ahmad 'Abd al-'Adh from Taiz. Our sister’s message is somewhat lengthy, and she says in it: I am presenting this problem that has caused me anxiety and confusion, hoping that you will not neglect to respond to it. It is this: I went to perform Hajj, and I left my home with four women from the neighborhood along with their brothers, and my son was also with me from my home to the airport until I reached the group of women who had their brothers with them. My husband met me at the airport, and after that we began performing the rites of Hajj. The time of the festival arrived, and I stoned the pillars on the day of the festival and the second day of the festival, and I delegated my husband to do it. On the third day of the festival, I said to my husband: I want to stone the pillars, but he refused because of the heavy crowd. As a result, some quarreling occurred between us, so I did not delegate him, and I did not stone the pillar, and I also did not perform the farewell circumambulation as a result of what happened between us. Now I am anxious about the deficiency that occurred on my part. I ask you to guide us, may Allah reward you with good?
Answer: The Hajj is valid, and praise be to Allah, but you owe two expiations:
One of them: for leaving off the stoning, you slaughter a sacrificial animal from sheep in Mecca, like the 'Id sacrifice; either a one-year-old sheep or a two-year-old goat, slaughtered in the sacred precinct in Mecca and distributed among the poor.
And the second expiation: for the farewell circumambulation; because you traveled and did not bid farewell, and the apparent meaning of your words is that you traveled without a mahram from your country to Jeddah airport, and that your son was with you to the airport, and then your husband met you at the airport in Jeddah, and you were with women. If this is what is true based on what appeared in your question, it is not permissible. It is not permissible for a woman to travel except with a mahram, even if she has someone who accompanies her to the airport and meets her at the airport. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
A woman should not travel except with a mahramلا تسافر امرأة إلا مع ذي محرم
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9:2565
If this is the reality and you traveled without a mahram, then you must repent to Allah, seek forgiveness, and not return to something like this. The Hajj is valid, and praise be to Allah, and you owe what we mentioned of the two expiations: a sacrificial animal for leaving off the stoning, and another sacrificial animal for leaving off the farewell circumambulation. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
