Stoning the Pillars Before the Time for Stoning

The first question of Fatwa No. ( 15004 )
Q1: I was performing the obligatory Hajj. On the days of Tashreeq, I stoned the Jamrat al-Aqabah at seven in the morning. On the second day, I stoned the pillars at ten in the evening. On the third day, I was in a hurry, so I stoned the pillars at nine in the morning, that is, before the sun passed its zenith. What is the ruling in this matter?
A1 : Your stoning of the pillars before the time for stoning is not valid. The stoning on the three days of Tashreeq, following the Day of Sacrifice, begins after the sun passes its zenith. This is because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) waited, along with his Companions, until the sun passed its zenith, and then he stoned. He said (peace and blessings be upon him): . In this situation, you are obligated to offer a fidyah, which is an animal slaughtered in Mecca for the poor of the Sacred Precinct. It must be of the same type that is acceptable as a sacrificial animal from sheep. If you cannot find one, you must fast for ten days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
