The ruling on praying in the farm and delaying it slightly from the beginning of its time
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question in this letter says: We are workers in a farm where we pray all the obligatory prayers, because the mosque is far from us, about two kilometers, and we do not hear the adhan. So we call the adhan and iqamah in the farm. Sometimes we delay the prayer from its time by half an hour for the sake of work. What is the ruling on that?
Answer: There is no harm for the person in the farm if the mosque is far from him. And delaying it by half an hour from the beginning of the time does not harm. If the delay is half an hour from the beginning of the time, there is nothing wrong with it. As for delaying it from the time itself, it is not permissible to delay it from the time. But if the delay is from the beginning of the time, for example: they do not pray until half an hour after the sun passes its zenith, or half an hour after the time of 'Asr enters, or half an hour after the sun sets, or half an hour after the twilight fades, this is permissible, there is no harm. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
