Delaying the Adhan

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q38: In my village, the adhan for the 'Asr prayer is called at five o'clock, even though the adhan and the entry of the time are at three o'clock. Knowing that the time for the Maghrib prayer enters at approximately six o'clock, what is the ruling on this delay?
A38: Praying at the beginning of its time is better. Your prayer in the time you mentioned is valid and performed within its time. It is not permissible to delay it until the sun turns yellow; due to the hadith of 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As (may Allah be pleased with them both) in Muslim and others, where he said: The Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
When you pray Fajr, its time is until the first part of the sun appears. When you pray Zuhr, its time is until 'Asr comes. When you pray 'Asr, its time is until the sun turns yellow. When you pray Maghrib, its time is until the twilight has disappeared. When you pray 'Isha, its time is until half of the night has passed.
Sahih Muslim 612a
.
And the Sunnah is to hasten with the adhan and prayer for the 'Asr prayer at the beginning of the time.
