Ruling on a woman who has not fasted for two years due to post-natal bleeding and pregnancy

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first message received by the program is from Mrs. Rania al-Jundi in Mafraq, Jordan. She says in her message, beginning with: In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy. Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings. I kindly request an answer to this question: I am a Muslim woman who has not fasted the month of Ramadan for two years. In the first year, it was because I was experiencing post-natal bleeding, and in the second year, I was pregnant and ill, and the doctor advised me not to fast. I have not made up these days, nor have I paid money in their place. Will Allah accept my repentance? What is the ruling in this case? Please inform us, may Allah reward you.
Answer: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and the final outcome is for the righteous. And blessings and peace be upon His servant and messenger, His choice from among His creation, and His trustee over His revelation, our Prophet, our Imam, and our Master Muhammad ibn Abdullah, and upon his family and his Companions, and whoever follows his path and is guided by his guidance until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows: O sister in Allah, the questioner! You owe nothing, and praise be to Allah, as long as you only delayed fasting for the sake of post-natal bleeding and pregnancy. You must fast the days you missed from the two years, and praise be to Allah. If you were lax in this and delayed making up the fasts without an excuse after becoming pure from post-natal bleeding, then you must feed one poor person for each day as an addition. This is what a group of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) issued a ruling on. So, fast the days that are upon you and feed one poor person for each day. However, if you were excused for the entire period, first by post-natal bleeding and second by pregnancy, and there was no period in between during which you were able to make up the fasts, then you only make up the fasts and you do not have to feed anyone. Rather, you fast the days that are upon you, and praise be to Allah, and you do not have to feed anyone. There is no harm in fasting them consecutively or separately. But if you were lax and did not fast while you were able to fast, then you must repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness, and you must fast, and you must feed one poor person for each day. That is one and a half kilograms for each day for the poor and the needy, meaning from dates, rice, or wheat, which is the staple food of the country. It is given to the poor, and even if you gathered it all and gave it to one, two, or three poor people, that is sufficient, and praise be to Allah.
The presenter: May Allah reward you.
