The ruling on one who deliberately hires disbelievers because they work during the times of prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
And another says: Materialism has overwhelmed many due to the abundance of luxury, and the standard and measure has become material wealth. We have even heard some of them say: The disbelievers do not pray, and we benefit from them during the time when Muslims pray; because prayer halts work—in their opinion. We have even seen some of them get angry at their Muslim workers if they maintain their prayers. What is the ruling on these people, and what is your advice to them?

Answer:
You have heard... and this is one of the great errors, and this is a great danger. Hiring them because they do not pray is a great calamity and a great danger; because it means that the type of praying workers is despised, and the praying worker is dismissed. That is what it means, and that a person who does not pray is accepted so that all his time is spent working. This is a great crime against Islam and the Muslims, and a crime against the homeland itself and against society.
Therefore, this matter is not permissible, and it is not befitting for a person of reason to utter such a thing. Rather, Muslims should be hired, and the time of prayer is excluded from work. The time of prayer is excluded. If we had reason, we would be pleased with the worker who prays; we would be pleased with him; because he is our brother. When we see him praying, we are pleased with him. How... the praying worker, and we take the disbeliever who does not pray? This is a great calamity, the love of material wealth and the eagerness for it—may Allah keep us safe.
