Question:
What are the factors that help in achieving sincerity?
Answer:
Answer: You should learn beneficial knowledge by which you know what sincerity to Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) is, and you should know your creed. You should also make your intention good, not intending any worldly desire, and not intending praise or commendation from people. This is sincerity: purifying the deed for Allah, so that it contains no major shirk, no minor shirk, no showing off, no seeking reputation, and no seeking of the world.
