Ruling on leaving off the shortening of hair after 'Umrah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I performed 'Umrah in Ramadan last year with my family, but I was the only one who did not shorten my hair after the 'Umrah was completed, and we returned to Riyadh without shortening it. What is required of me now?

Answer:
You must shorten your hair in any place, whether in Makkah, in Riyadh, or on the way, for your 'Umrah is not complete except by shortening, because it is one of its rites. So you must shorten it even if a long time has passed, because it remains upon you and your 'Umrah has not been completed. It is obligatory for you to hasten to put the ihram garments back on you in any place, then shorten or shave, then put on your clothes, and you will have completed your 'Umrah. And if you had intercourse during this period before you shaved, then you owe an expiation, which is slaughtering a sheep in Makkah and distributing it to the poor of the Haram.
