Placing what indicates the owner of the grave

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it permissible to place a piece of iron and a sign on the grave of the deceased, written on it are verses from the Qur'an, in addition to the name of the deceased and the date of death?

Answer:
Answer: It is not permissible to write on graves, neither the name of the deceased, nor his biography, nor the date of his death; all of this is not permissible, it is forbidden, because this leads to exaggeration regarding this deceased and seeking blessing from him among the ignorant, the common people, and the innovators. As for placing a marker on it so that he is not known, or rather, like a stone placed on the grave so that he visits it and prays for its owner, there is no harm in that. As for markers that are known and written upon, that is more severe.
