Explanation of the reason for the prohibition of zakah on the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his family

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q198: The questioner Abdullah says: Why was charity prohibited for our Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)?
A198: Because of what is in the hadith:
It is the filth of peopleإنها أوساخ الناس
. So it was prohibited for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and his family to honor them by keeping them away from that, from the filth of people's wealth.
