Q: A person heard the adhan of Maghrib for the city of Cairo while he was imagining that he was in Alexandria , so he broke his fast . What is the ruling of the religion in this matter? May Allah reward you with good.
A: If the person mentioned broke his fast before the setting of the sun in the country where he is, then he must make up the fast for that day. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
