Ruling on combining the two adhan for the Friday prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q463: The questioner N. A. from Ta'if says: In some mosques on Friday, the interval between the two adhan is only six minutes. If I arrive before the first adhan, am I allowed to pray the rawatib, or should I wait until the first adhan is called, then stand up and pray them?

A463: Combining the two adhan in a very short time on Friday does not give the first adhan any value. There must be a period between the two adhan that allows people to prepare to go to the Friday prayer, for the first adhan was prescribed to alert people so that they can prepare to go to the Friday prayer. There should be a period during which they can go, prepare, and get ready. This period should not be less than half an hour, or more. As for making the first adhan close to the second, with only minutes between them, this removes the benefit of the first adhan. You may pray, but you must stop praying when the imam arrives. If you want to pray the nafilah, pray whatever is easy for you.
