Explanation of how a person with limb paralysis performs wudu'

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q455: The questioner says: How should I perform wudu' for prayer, given that the majority of my body is paralyzed? If I try to perform wudu', it is very difficult for me, and most of the time I have no one to bring me water or wash me. I ask for guidance regarding my condition, and what is the ruling on my prayer if I am unable to perform wudu'?
A455: If you are able to perform wudu', even with assistance, then it is obligatory for you to perform wudu', even if you must rely on someone to bring you water and pour it over your limbs. However, if you are unable to do this, it is sufficient for you to perform tayammum with clean earth. You should have clean earth available near you, so that when the time for prayer arrives and you wish to pray,
and you have no one to help you with wudu' or bring you water, you perform tayammum with this earth according to your condition. If you are unable to wash some of your limbs but can wash others, wash what you are able to wash and perform tayammum for the rest.
