Stoning the pillars on the eleventh day and thereafter is not valid except after the sun has passed its zenith
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q2: Two young men were with some women and children. They stoned the pillars on the twelfth day, two hours before the sun passed its zenith, then they went to Makkah al-Mukarramah and performed the farewell tawaf at the time of the midday prayer. When asked why they stoned before the sun passed its zenith, they said that the Committee of Scholars of the Kingdom had expanded the time due to incidents, particularly for women and the weak. What do you say about their stoning before the sun passed its zenith? And if it is not correct, what is required of them?
A2: Stoning the pillars on the eleventh day and thereafter is not valid except after the sun has passed its zenith; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stoned them after the sun passed its zenith on these days and said: This is what the scholars of the Kingdom issue as a ruling, and they have not issued a ruling to the contrary. Since you stoned before the sun passed its zenith, you are required to offer a sacrificial animal that is acceptable as an 'Id sacrifice. If you are unable to do so, you must fast for ten days.
A2: Stoning the pillars on the eleventh day and thereafter is not valid except after the sun has passed its zenith; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stoned them after the sun passed its zenith on these days and said:
