A2 : It is not permissible for a Muslim to perform Hajj on behalf of another until he first performs Hajj for himself; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to the one he heard responding to the call on behalf of a man named Shubrumah :Sunan Abi Dawud 1811Sahih (Al-Albani) Then, representation in Hajj or 'Umrah is not permissible except for a deceased person or one who is unable to perform Hajj personally, due to a continuous physical inability; from old age or an illness that is not expected to end. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
