Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 13935 )
Q1: If Shawwal has entered and a woman has five days of qada' (making up missed fasts) remaining, and she wants to fast the six white days in Shawwal, what is better: fasting the qada' and having time left to fast the six white days, or fasting the six white days because they are tied to Shawwal , and then fasting the qada' at her leisure in the following months? And is it true that the lady A'ishah used to delay the qada' until the coming Sha'ban, and is it permissible to delay the qada' for this entire period or any other, when a person does not guarantee his life, not even for an hour or less?
A1: It is prescribed that a person begin by fasting the days that are obligatory to make up
even if the six days of Shawwal are missed. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
