Leaving an act of Hajj

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 21600 )
Q1: A person intended to perform Hajj and did so, but when he reached the station of Mina , he found it extremely crowded and was unable to stone the pillars due to the heavy congestion. He waited until the second day, but he still could not perform the stoning, so he returned without completing his Hajj. Is he required to do anything? He has since passed away without having performed Hajj. What is obligatory for his son?
A1 : If what he left of the acts of Hajj was the stoning of the pillars on the days
of Tashreeq and the farewell tawaf, then it is obligatory that two expiations be slaughtered on his behalf in Makkah and distributed to the poor of the Haram, one for the stoning of the pillars and the second for the farewell tawaf. Their value is to be taken from his estate. If one of his relatives or one of the benefactors volunteers to pay it, that suffices, if Allah wills. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
