A6 : The farewell tawaf is obligatory only for the pilgrim performing Hajj if he intends to travel from Makkah after Hajj, based on the hadith of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said:Sahih Muslim 1328a It is agreed upon that it is authentic.
