Wearing by the one in ihram what aids walking and secures the foot

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 21689 )
Q: I am a person suffering from paralysis in my left leg and I use a walking aid, as I am unable to walk without it. It consists of a medical shoe connected to aluminum parts up to the upper part of the thigh. Allah has blessed me with performing the rituals of 'Umrah, but I entered the state of ihram while wearing socks for the two shoes. Is there any blame on me for that? Knowing that I have performed 'Umrah more than once in the same manner previously.
Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.

A : It is permissible for you to wear the aforementioned shoe and whatever is attached to it that is needed to secure it. You must pay an expiation by choosing between slaughtering a sheep that is acceptable for the 'Id sacrifice and distributing it to the poor, or feeding six poor people, each receiving half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg), which is approximately one and a half kilograms, or fasting for three days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
