He performed only four circuits of the tawaf of ifadah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 20367 )
Q: A man performed only four circuits of the tawaf of ifadah , and he did not ask anyone. In the following year, he went and performed Hajj on behalf of his deceased father, completing the pillars and obligations, but he did not perform the tawaf of ifadah for himself, believing that he was correct as long as the time had passed. The question now is: Is his Hajj on behalf of his father valid?
A: His Hajj is valid, and he must return to Makkah and perform the tawaf of ifadah for his first Hajj, and perform sa'y after it. If he is married and has had intercourse with his wife, he must sacrifice an animal that is sufficient for the 'Id sacrifice, to be slaughtered in Makkah , distributed to the poor, and he must not eat any of it. He must also refrain from having intercourse with his wife until he performs the tawaf and sa'y. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
