A poor man working in the Gulf countries is saving money to build a house, and a lunar year has passed over it

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 16027 )
Q2: A poor man has no residence, no shop, and no agricultural land, and he has not married due to a lack of funds. He works in the Gulf and saves money in Islamic banks in his country to build a house or buy a shop
or agricultural land, until this amount reached the nisab for zakah and a lunar year passed over it. Is zakah obligatory on him or not? May you be rewarded.

A2: If this money reaches the nisab and a lunar year passes over it, then zakah is obligatory on it, even if he intends to use it for building a residence, marriage, or something else. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
