The zakah of wealth that has reached the end of its lunar year

Fatwa number ( 17434 )
Q: I own wealth that has reached the nisab (minimum threshold for zakah) from last year, meaning: the lunar year has passed over it this year. It started at approximately one thousand dinars, that was the beginning, but as soon as the lunar year passed over this wealth, it increased after many scattered periods, increasing for example by (300 dinars) and another time by (500) approximately after several months, due to the nature of investing these funds. So the question here is: Is the wealth that arrived one month or more before the lunar year applied to this wealth, which originally was only one thousand, subject to zakah? And it has now become, for example, two thousand, meaning: from 1/3/94 it was (one thousand) only, and it became in 1/8/94 (1500) and in 1/2/95 (2000). So how do I pay zakah? Knowing that I do not own anything other than this wealth, and that I am a young man who does not own a house or land or anything specific to me, except that I am renting a farm where I work, and that I am saving it for such things (building and marriage) if Allah wills.
If I owe zakah, is it permissible for me to give my zakah for building a mosque or contributing to supporting an Islamic center, and is it permissible for me to delay the zakah to the next year so that I pay it in Ramadan – for two years, of course –?
A: It is obligatory to pay the zakah of wealth that has reached the end of its lunar year along with its profits; because the lunar year of the profit is the lunar year of the capital, even if it is intended for marriage. It is not permissible to spend the zakah on building mosques or for Islamic centers; because Allah has restricted it to the eight categories mentioned in His saying, the Exalted:[At-Tawbah 9:60] ... the verse from Surat al-Tawbah, unless the intention of spending it for Islamic centers is to give it to the poor through the trustworthy people in charge of them, in which case there is no harm in that. It is not permissible to delay its payment from the time it becomes obligatory, which is the completion of the lunar year, rather it is obligatory to pay it immediately. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
