Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q93: The questioner A.A. says in his question: Allah the Exalted says:
What comes to you of good is from Allah, but what comes to you of evil, [O man], is from yourself. And We have sent you, [O Muhammad], to the people as a messenger, and sufficient is Allah as Witness.
[An-Nisa 4:79]
, what is the interpretation of the verse? May Allah reward you.

A93: “What good befalls you is from Allah” is a favor from Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) and a grace from Allah. “And what evil befalls you is from yourself” is because of yourself. So it is the person who brings harm upon himself by committing sins and disobedience.
