Q2: Is breaking the fast in Ramadan based on the timing of the Maghrib adhan, or does the fasting person break his fast when the sun sets ; based on the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ?
A2: The fasting person breaks his fast when the sun sets, if he sees it, or if he is convinced by the report of a trustworthy person or by hearing the adhan. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
