Explaining what marks the beginning of the time for breaking the fast

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q348: The questioner asks: When does a fasting person break his fast if he is observing an obligatory fast, or a voluntary one? Is it at sunset, or upon hearing the adhan?
A348: If he sees the sunset with his own eyes, he breaks his fast at sunset. If he does not see the sunset because he is in a place where it is obstructed and he cannot see the sun, then he relies on the adhan and breaks his fast upon the adhan.
