The Ruling on a Woman Who Does Not Wear the Hijab

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 17805 )
Q2: If a Muslim knows that the hijab is an individual obligation for his wife, but he refuses to order her to wear it, has he committed apostasy or not? And if he orders her to wear it and she refuses, has she committed apostasy or not? Or what is required of him now?
A2: The hijab is obligatory, and the husband must order his wife to wear it. If he does not order her, he is a sinner, and if he orders her and she refuses, she is a sinner. Neither of them is declared a disbeliever. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
