Nocturnal emission and waking up while preventing the exit of semen

The third question of Fatwa No. ( 17762 )
Q3: A man was sleeping and had a nocturnal emission. He opened his eyes while the semen was coming out and held it back. After half an hour or less, he got up from sleep. What is the ruling regarding him?
A3: If the matter is as described, then it is obligatory for this man who had the emission to perform the full ritual bath (ghusl); because the exit of the semen had begun, and holding back the rest has no effect. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
