Q 2: Work in some accidents may continue for a long time. What is the ruling on shortening and combining the prayers?
A 2: If you are unable to perform the prayer at its proper time due to being occupied with averting the danger of an accident, then you should intend to combine it with the prayer that follows, if it is one that is combined, such as Zuhr with 'Asr and Maghrib with 'Isha'. If it is one that is not combined with another, such as Fajr, then you should pray it as soon as you are able, immediately after the accident is over. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
