Q 3: I have a day off on Thursdays and Fridays, and on these days I pray the five obligatory prayers at home because I am lazy about going to the mosque , and I have three children. What is the ruling?
A 3: It is obligatory for the Muslim to pray the five obligatory prayers in the mosque, and it is not permissible for him to pray them at home; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Ibn Hibban 10:352 , and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the one who came to him asking for a dispensation to pray at home: Sunan Abi Dawud 552Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani) . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
