Q 3: What is the ruling if the mu'adhdhin forgets (the prayer is better than sleep) in the Fajr adhan ?
A 3: If the mu'adhdhin forgets a word of the adhan, and then remembers it while still in the state of the adhan, he should recite the forgotten word and the words of the adhan that follow it. If he does not remember it until a later time, he should repeat the entire adhan, provided there is no other mu'adhdhin around him whose adhan would fulfill the collective obligation. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
