Taking a ritual bath without the intention of removing major ritual impurity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 15394 )
Q1: I took a bath while I was in a state of ritual purity, and therefore I did not intend to remove major ritual impurity. After bathing, I remembered that I had been in a state of major ritual impurity before the bath. Is it obligatory for me to repeat the bath, or did I become ritually pure with that bath?
A1 : If you took the bath with the intention of cleanliness and cooling off, you must repeat the bath with the intention of removing major ritual impurity; because you did not intend the first bath for that purpose, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Actions are only by intentionsإنما الأعمال بالنيات
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
