Setting aside a portion of the mosque to establish a kindergarten

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 16815 )
Q 1: Is it permissible to set aside a portion of the mosque to establish an Islamic kindergarten to teach children matters of the religion? It is known that prayer is suspended in this section and children's toys are placed in it, including swings and others.
A 1: It is not permissible to set aside any part of the mosque to make it a kindergarten for children or anything else; because the mosque has become an endowment (waqf) in which it is not permissible to dispose of it for other than what it was endowed for. However, it is possible to teach children the Qur'an and matters of the religion in the mosque without placing swings and toys; because they are not compatible with the sanctity of the mosque. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
