Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 20828 )
Q1: They have an official mosque, and a space measuring (7 meters in length) by (10 meters in width) has been cut off from one of its sides and turned into storage facilities for the unit’s supplies. Additionally, rooms were built on the outside of its western wall, on the qiblah side, to serve as storage for the unit. Is this permissible?
A1: It is not permissible to cut off any part of the mosque for the purposes mentioned, because it is an endowment. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
