Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon the one after whom there is no prophet
And after: The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta has reviewed what was sent to His Eminence the Grand Mufti from His Excellency the General Manager of the Branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, and Guidance, in his letter number (6792/6/D) dated 5/5/1417 AH, which was referred to the Committee by the General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars with number (2532) dated 11/5/1417 AH. His Excellency asked a question, the text of which is: (I submit to Your Eminence the documents concerning the request of the citizen (A. A. Q.) for approval to build housing for the imam and the mu'adhdhin of al-Zayni Mosque in al-Aziziyah , on the land that was previously donated for the expansion of the aforementioned mosque . Since the aforementioned land was originally allocated for the expansion of the mosque, but it became impossible to utilize it for this purpose due to the deviation of the qiblah, I ask Your Eminence to clarify the extent of the permissibility of utilizing it to build housing for the imam and mu'adhdhin of the aforementioned mosque, as they have no housing.
