Fatwa No. ( 15666 )
Q: Is the invocation obligatory for every animal in the herd, or is it permissible to invoke the name of Allah over the entire herd, or do they not invoke it at all?
A: The invocation is obligatory for each slaughtered animal individually, and the collective invocation is not sufficient; because the ruling for each slaughtered animal is independent of the other. Allah the Exalted said:[Al-An'am 6:118] And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan an-Nasa'i 4403Sahih (Darussalam) . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

So eat of that [meat] upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned, if you are believers in His verses.
فَكُلُوا مِمَّا ذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ بِآيَاتِهِ مُؤْمِنِينَIf the blood is shed and the name of Allah is mentioned, then eat
ما أنهر الدم وذكر اسم الله فكل
