Slaughter for other than Allah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question from fatwa number ( 20116 )
Q 3: There is a woman who does not conceive, and she made a vow that if she conceives and gives birth to a son, she will slaughter a bull for Safi al-Din ibn Ahmad, and if she conceives and gives birth to a daughter, she will give half of her mahr to Safi al-Din ibn Ahmad, is it permissible for this woman to make a vow in this manner or not?
A: Making a vow for other than Allah the Exalted is major shirk; because a vow is a type of worship, so it is not permissible except for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), and likewise, slaughtering for other than Allah
is from major shirk; due to the saying of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He):
Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.قُلْ إِنَّ صَلاَتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
[Al-An'am 6:162]
, the verse, and due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Allah cursed him who sacrificed for anyone besides Allahلعن الله من ذبح لغير الله
Sahih Muslim 1978b
narrated by Muslim in (his Sahih). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
