Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 12827 )
Q2: What is the ruling in the religion regarding the fact that when I visit my aunt or my cousin, my father becomes extremely angry and says to me: We will not forgive you as long as you continue to do this. So, should I refrain from visiting them, or should I continue visiting them?
A2: You may visit your relatives to maintain family ties, even if your father is not pleased;
because there is no obedience to a created being in disobedience to the Creator. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
