Q: I proposed to my cousin’s daughter, Hissa. An insect entered my ear, and her mother breastfed me in the ear once. Is it permissible for me to marry Hissa?
A: It is permissible for the questioner to marry his cousin’s daughter, Hissa. What he mentioned about her mother breastfeeding him in the ear once has no effect on this marriage, and that is not considered breastfeeding. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
