Adding to or subtracting from supplications with the transmitted supplications

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 9044 )
Q 1: What is the ruling on adding to or subtracting from supplications with the transmitted supplications , and does that addition or subtraction invalidate the reward for that supplication? For example, the tasbih, tahmid, and takbir are each done thirty-three times, and the conclusion of the hundred is a statement. (There is no god but Allah...) If the number is more than a hundred or less, what is the effect of that? Likewise, in the supplications, some are in the form of a hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so if a person supplicates with that supplication and there is a deficiency or an addition, what is the ruling of that?
A 1: The door of supplications is wide, so let the servant supplicate to his Lord with what he needs from what contains no sin. As for the transmitted supplications and dhikr, the principle in them is that they are prescribed in terms of
the wording and the number. It is incumbent upon the Muslim to observe that and preserve it, so he does not add to the specified number or the wording, nor does he subtract from that or distort it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
