Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 18253 )
Q 1: What is the ruling on drinking the blood of the Barazi from the tribes of al-Suhul and al-Mutayr, where they drink it when a rabid animal bites them, and what is the wisdom
behind these two tribes only? And why do they not drink from the blood of any other tribe?
A 1: Drinking blood is forbidden, and it is not permissible to treat oneself with that which is forbidden; due to the prohibition of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of that, by his saying:Sunan Abi Dawud 3874Da'if (Al-Albani) , and treating oneself with the blood of the two tribes mentioned has no basis in the Shari'ah, rather it is a denunciation and is not permissible. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
