His father is disliked because he harasses the neighbors

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 6461 )
Q 1: I find hatred and aversion toward my father; and this is anger for the sake of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, for there is no house among the neighbors’ houses but he looks into their affairs, and how many problems have occurred because of this matter, and I truly know what
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, that a time will come upon this Ummah in which the heart of the believer will melt as salt melts in water, and that is because of the abundance of what he finds and is unable to forbid, and that it causes me hardship because I know that disobeying the parents is among the major sins.

A 1: You must be kind to your father, do good to him, and obey him in anything other than the disobedience of Allah, Mighty and Majestic. And try to offer him advice if you are able to do so and you do not fear a greater harm. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
