Undutifulness to parents
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 9017 )
Q 2: What is the ruling in Islam regarding a person who is undutiful to his parents, even though his father does not treat him harshly, but he treats him differently from his siblings?
A 2: Undutifulness to parents is one of the major sins. It is not permissible for their child to respond to their evil with evil; rather, he should respond to it with good. He must repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness for what he has neglected, with sincere repentance, hoping that He will forgive him for what has passed. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
