The second question of Fatwa number ( 8862 )
Q2: What is the Islamic ruling on smoking cigarettes, and if one of my parents asks me for the price of cigarettes, should I give it to them? And if I refuse, will I be disobedient?
A2: Smoking tobacco is forbidden. If your father asks you for the price of tobacco or to buy it, do not do so, and you will not be sinful for it, based on the hadith:Mishkat al-Masabih 3696 . Advise them to leave it off in a good manner, explain its harm to them, treat them kindly in this world, and follow the path of your Lord.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
