He divorced her, then they reconciled

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 448 )
Q: A disagreement arose between me and my wife, and I divorced her with one pronouncement of divorce,
then we reconciled
and Allah brought us together and settled our affairs, and I took my wife back. I contacted the judge in Jizan and explained the matter to him, and he said: If you have reached a mutual agreement, then you owe nothing, given that I had previously pronounced one divorce before this, so please issue a ruling for me.

A: If the matter is as you described, that you divorced your wife with one pronouncement of divorce, and that you had not previously pronounced any divorce other than this one, and that you took your wife back—if your taking her back occurred during the waiting period and you witnessed the taking back, then your taking her back is valid, and your wife is lawful for you, except that you have only one pronouncement of divorce remaining with her. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
