Q: He divorced his wife (H. S. M. Q) with one divorce, and he had not
previously divorced her, and he took her back four days after the divorce, and he witnessed the taking back (H. N. Sh) from the locality of 'Awali, Hamdan and (M. 'A. Q) end of quote.
A: Since the one named (H. S. H) divorced his wife (H. S) with one divorce and had not previously divorced this wife before that, and since he took her back during the waiting period with the testimony of those mentioned in his inquiry, if the matter is as stated, then the divorce he pronounced is counted against him, and his taking her back is valid as long as she is in the waiting period, and the two witnesses to the taking back are just. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
