Q1: A girl was married, and her husband injected her with a needle to prevent menstruation. She did not menstruate for a full year after the injection. Now her husband has divorced her, and she has not menstruated to this day. I wish to marry her, so what is her waiting period?
A1: The waiting period for the divorced woman mentioned is one year, starting from the divorce, unless menstruation comes to her before the year has passed, in which case she observes the waiting period based on menstruation. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
