Injections during the daytime of Ramadan

Fatwa number ( 6131 )
Q: I visited the hospital due to having some illnesses, and the treating doctor prescribed the necessary treatment, which included penicillin injections to be administered intramuscularly in the morning and evening. I informed him that I did not want to break my fast and that I was afraid they might be the kind of injections that break the fast. He told me that they do not break the fast, and I continued to receive them for two days in the morning and evening, i.e., at their scheduled times. However, I was surprised to hear from some colleagues that all injections break the fast and are disliked to use during the daytime of Ramadan, and I have become confused about my situation. I ask you, may Allah reward you, to inform me whether they break the fast, and whether I am required to make up the two days on which I used them? I administered them without knowing they broke the fast, following the doctor's instructions. I am certain that hospitals have guidelines regarding the use of treatment. I ask for a quick response. May Allah preserve you and reward you with the best reward.
A: If the situation is as you described, there is no blame on you for taking those injections mentioned, and you are not required to make up the fasting for the two days on which you took them. In such cases in the future, it is recommended to administer the injections at night if that is feasible, as that is more cautious. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
