Q3: If a woman observes the waiting period for her husband and she has a daughter, does this daughter observe it with her, knowing that she is of age?
A3: She is not permitted to observe the waiting period with her mother for her mother’s husband, but this daughter is permitted to observe the waiting period for him for three days; because it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Sunan Abi Dawud 2299Sahih (Al-Albani) And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
