He had intercourse with her before the time he had forbidden her to himself

Fatwa number ( 6762 )
Q: I have been married for more than eight years and have three children. One day, I had a disagreement with my wife, which led me to declare her forbidden to myself, like the prohibition of my mother, until the next month. However, after the situation improved and everything went well, I found that I could not control myself, so I had intercourse with her before the time I had set for myself. I ask you to kindly issue a fatwa on what expiation I can offer for what I did? I am eagerly awaiting your guidance. Please note that I cannot abandon the mother of my three children, and I am satisfied with her, but what happened occurred in a state of anger that compelled me to do it. May Allah reward you with the best reward.
A: If the situation is as you described, it is obligatory for you, before returning to her: to free a believing slave. If you cannot find one, then fast two consecutive months. If you are unable to do so,
then feed sixty poor people, each poor person receiving half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) of the local staple food, such as rice or other grains. Half a sa' is approximately one and a half kilograms, along with repentance and seeking forgiveness. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
